Am I too old to learn to play drums?

No... One of the worlds greatest drummers, Buddy Rich was still playing amazing drums up to 70 years of age!

 

Do I need special and expensive equipment to begin with?

No... beginners need only a pair of sticks. When the time comes I can assist you in choosing other suitable equipment, many items of which are available through me at a specially discounted price.

 

Do you do home visits?

No. My studio is purpose built and has all the facilities that I need to deliver top quality tuition.

Have you been cleared by CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks?

How much do you charge?

£35 per hour.

 

Do I need to supply my own study material?

Not always... I provide hand outs for most of the lessons that I teach and if additional books are required to augment your studies then I can recommend suitable titles. All the books that I recommend are available through my Drum Books link on the home page of this web site.

 

Do you teach Moeller?

Yes... I do teach very advanced techniques including the Moeller 'System' and related techniques
